Yankee Swap Info...
To explain the Yankee Swap very briefly. Buy a new gift costing about $10 - wrap it. One gift per rig. Please remember there are kids here, so keep it tasteful PM me if you want to participate and I'll keep, a list. On Saturday night a member of each family picks a number. There will be as many numbers as there are players. After we all have our numbers, I'll pick a number from another matching batch. The first number I choose will go first - which is good! As numbers are randomly chosen, people choose a gift and are free to either keep that gift or take a gift from one of the previous "giftees." (If you get a nice lawn chair, I can guarantee you won't keep it!) No gift is ever safe, so don't get too attached to it! This goes on and on until all the gifts have been distributed. THEN, the first person who picked a gift gets to take a gift from anyone at all since they didn't have that chance in the beginning.

FYI
They are doing construction on the bridge near deer run. Its one lane with a detour up around Price Chopper. You wont get lost just a pain in the butt waiting for the light to cross bridge.

I elect Gordie to be the lead draft car...
Car or Tractor? either way we're in the back of the line. Fuel prices are killing us. I will slap the next person that tells me truckers make good money. Just for fuel it cost $.83 a mile to run the truck.

Dry camping works for us. As long as I don't have to break down a pop-up in pouring rain. ..hhhhmmm I can hear Uncle Bubba now chopping wood at 6a.m. and me with rocks to throw at him as I call him every name in the book. Even blonde.

In fact I was running late.
Gordie bought a new brush to wash the awning and a cover for the bathroom vent, so we don't get caught in another storm with our bathroom vent open and come back to a flood.
Maybe you ought to rethink that vent cover. At least when the rain comes, you'll be able to take a shower INSIDE the camper instead of trying to do it outside, buck naked on your patio, using that soap on a rope, bucket and sponge like you usually do!
At least I take a shower...*sniff sniff* whats that smell...oOooOo that smell..can't ya smell that smell.

Yup! 5 a.m comes early. I was headed out the door when I posted that. In fact I was running late.

Our plan to go to the RV show on Sat. was a flop. So we jumped in the car last min on Sunday. I wasn't impressed with the new 5ers.
I have an odd question...WHY do they put sinks in the master bedroom in fifth wheels? Who wants to wake up to running water right next to your ear!?
